This Privacy Policy explains how AMZ Anti-Pesticide Shield ("we", "our", "the tool") handles information when you use amzpesticide.com. We built this tool for Amazon sellers to self-check listing copy, and we've tried to keep the data footprint as small as possible.

1. What happens to the text you paste into the scanner

The scanner runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. When you paste listing copy into the text box and click "Scan Listing," that text is matched against a local list of keyword patterns directly on your device. We do not transmit the content of your listing copy to our servers, store it in a database, log it, or share it with any third party. Once you close or refresh the page, the text you entered is gone — we have no record of it and no way to retrieve it.

We do not use your pasted listing content to train any model, build any dataset, or resell it in any form.

2. Analytics

Like most websites, we may use a privacy-conscious analytics tool (such as Microsoft Clarity or Umami) to understand aggregate usage patterns — for example, how many people visit the page, which language they use, or which browser they're on. These tools are configured to avoid collecting the actual contents of the scanner's text box, and any session recording or heatmap features are configured to mask or exclude form fields containing user-entered text. If we change analytics providers, we will update this page to reflect that.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, our use of analytics cookies relies on your consent where required by the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. You can control or withdraw that consent through your browser's cookie settings at any time, and using the core scanning tool does not require accepting analytics cookies.

3. Advertising

This site may display advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at Google's Partner Sites policy, and you can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.

4. Contact form and email

If you email us at support@amzpesticide.com or use the contact form on our About page, we receive whatever information you choose to include (your email address and message content) so we can respond to you. We don't add you to a marketing list from a support email, and we don't sell or share contact information with third parties.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: a language-preference cookie (if implemented) to remember your selected interface language, and any cookies set by the analytics or advertising services described above. We do not use cookies to track you across unrelated third-party sites for our own purposes.

6. Children's privacy

This tool is intended for business use by Amazon sellers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the tool evolves — for example, if we add server-side features, user accounts, or new analytics providers. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
